Payroll Manager

A local authority based in the West Midlands currently requires an Interim Payroll Manager to run a shared service centre for a period of at least 3 - 6 months, with the potential for contract extension.

Duties will include assisting with the transfer of several payroll runs from other local authorities, managing a team of approximately 15 Payroll Officers. In addition, you will be required to support the senior management team with all aspects of day-to-day payroll management during this particularly busy period.

The ideal candidate will have previous payroll management experience gained within a busy local government environment and will be available at short notice. You should have excellent time management skills and will enjoy working as part of a busy team.
