Advantage Resourcing are recruiting a Payroll Compliance Reviewer to join a leading organisation in Preston for a 6 month fixed term contract.
The role will be based in Preston but the work will be split between Preston and Portsmouth. The role requires travel to Portsmouth and will require overnight stays.
The organisation has recently insourced HR and Payroll which has changed the fundamental nature of the environment in which the service now operates. The service now needs to align internal policies and procedures as well as the regulatory framework.
Therefore they are undertaking a Service wide review across the newly insourced service to determine what action, if any, needs to be undertaken to align with mandated requirements.
The review is split into different service areas. This role is to support the section of the review which relates to the Payroll Service. There is an exciting opportunity to support the Review Lead.
Key activities will include:
*To assist the lead reviewer
*Agree the logistics and an interview schedule with the Lead Reviewer
*To undertake the review in accordance with an agreed fieldwork plan including: Conducting informal interviews, Sample Testing
*Strong written and oral communications skills
*Attention to detail
*Must be IT literate with strong skills in MS Office (excel, word and Powerpoint)
*Previous payroll experience (essential)
*Ability to work to tight deadlines
*Good team player
*Ability to work under own initiative
*Ability to manage workload to meet review deadlines
*Previous experience of assurance activity would be an advantage
