Excellent opportunity has arisen for a Payroll and HR Compliance specialist to join a large telecommunications company based in Cheshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity and is a newly created role within the business. Joining initially on a contract basis, you must be immediately available as it does require an immediate start.

This role is critical to the company as you will be making sure that the payroll procedures are followed and are adhering to policy and striving to achieve a set standard of compliance. The successful candidate will become the subject matter expert on all matters relating to PAYE and will be responsible for ensuring that all teams comply with statutory requirements and company policy.

The role:-

Identify, investigate and support corrective actions for the Group.
Be responsible for Compliance Auditing and working with the HR Systems and MI Analyst to ensure data integrity is maintained.

You will:-

Ensure POE is evident for all new colleagues to the business
Complete CRB & CCJ checks
Ensure business continuity
Data integrity/validation
New Payroll Business Processes
Audit
Payroll statutory Requirements, TYE, P11d HMRC relationship
Internal/External audit
Ensure HR Compliance to all appropriate statutory requirements and company regulations/policies.
Provide support to Payroll/Finance reconciliation's, ad hoc payroll queries and audit requirements.

Systems Knowledge:-

Business Objects practitioner or other Business intelligence and interrogation software
Excel skills to include data manipulation
Statistically and analytically minded
Data Presentation skills in order to present information in a useful format to all levels of the business when required to do so.
Knowledge of HR/Payroll databases

Business Expertise:-

Ability to prioritise workload is essential.
You must have a clear understanding of the end to end processes undertaken by HR Administration as you will interface between HR & the outsourced Payroll solution and third party functions. Experience of MI reporting is required
