Payroll and Benefits Specialist (PT) Job

Excellent part time 12 month contract opportunity for a PAYROLL/BENEFITS SPECIALIST with one of Yoh's clients in Erie, PA!

- Excellent math skills
- MS Excel proficiency
- Oracle HR software knowledge

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Add/remove/change employee information for Oracle HR to ensure accurate payment in accordance with company policies, union agreements, Federal and state labor laws.
- Verify straight time, night shift differentials, overtime, and absence hours.
- Data input of calculated day work adjustments
- Investigate pay discrepancies and initiate corrective action when necessary
- Submit and maintain payroll deductions
- Counsel employees on pay related matters
- Furnish wage verifications to third parties as required
- Act as employee liaison with HR management, corporate payroll personnel and off shore payroll vendors
- Complete special projects as assigned

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Strict attention to detail
- High school diploma with at least five (5) years experience or an Associates degree with two (2) years of experience
- Excellent math skills
- MS Excel proficiency
- Oracle HR software knowledge

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
