Payroll Administrator - Contract - Telecoms - Berkshire

I am urgently recruiting for a payroll administrator to work for a leading telecommunications company based in Berkshire. Our client is looking to interview this week, so candidates must be immediately available for interview.

The successful candidate will provide support to a small team renowned for its high standards of productivity and efficiency. You will contribute to maintaining the exemplary levels of accuracy that have been established for the timely completion of payroll payments to our client's UK workforce and help foster positive cross functional relationships across the business.

You will be part of a team of four initially with two administrators and a Payroll Specialist reporting to the Payroll Manager. You will be supporting the team during a challenging period of testing and implementation of new procedures; however guidance, coaching and training will be close at hand from the senior members of the team.

Essential skills:
*Diligent and meticulous approach to work
*Experience of working to tight deadlines in a high pressure environment
*Effective communication skills
*Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
*Previous experience in Payroll administrator or similar role
*Previous experience working with a large UK wide company

Desired Skills:
*Previous experience of Oracle 11i system (payroll/HRMS)
*Payroll vocational qualification eg CIPP
*Up-to-date comprehensive knowledge of UK employment and pensions legislation
