Capita Hartshead provide services across Pensions Administration, Tracing Solutions and Actuarial Services for various corporates in the Public and Private Sectors.

We are now looking for a Payroll Administrator to work in our Sheffield offices on an initial 9 month maternity contract within the Pensions team. You will help maintain payroll records, enabling the payment of pensions to be accurate and on time, and to provide optimum levels of customer service to the client in terms of quality, cost and time.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- To create and maintain consistent and accurate scheme records using the appropriate systems
- To have a sound knowledge of and ability to use the internal systems effectively
- To be familiar with performance targets and quality standards and to make every effort to achieve these
- To provide excellent customer service to all pensioners and third parties
- To complete all tasks using best practice
- To participate in and promote good team communication
- To respond to all correspondence (both telephone and written) in a substantive manner within the agreed time limits
- To provide a comprehensive payroll service that incorporates all payment types including overseas payments
- To work towards overall goals of the team
- To build and maintain personal development file
- Process and review complaints with a positive attitude and seek to address the root cause in order to implement effective corrective action to prevent reoccurrence.
- Identify and report risks to your line manager or the Operational Risk & Compliance Department.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- Basic Office Skills
- Basic Payroll Skills
