Payroll Accountant (m/f)

- Vendor management with fully managed payroll provider until the global solution is in place., ensuring all data is processed, including Time Management Interface (E-eTime), HR Interface (OneSource) and manual data entry (payments/deductions etc) into the Payroll System.
- Participate actively in the GV payroll project to move the payroll from the fully managed payroll provider to SAP payroll managed in-house.
- Work to agreed schedules for each payroll/BU (annual events timetables)
- Assist with preparing Annual Events Timetables including all statutory deadlines
- Work Schedule Changes, Mass Timecard Edits, Temporary Work Transfers
- Troubleshoot Timecard Issues
- Timecard Sign-off
- Timefile submission and balancing to payroll
- Pre and Post payroll reconciliation and verification
- Prepare and maintain related payroll records and reports.
- Resolves general payroll problems and employee queries
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of legal filing and reporting as per German Legislation
- Complete appropriate Sox reconciliations and maintain records for audit purposes
- Complete any requests from Site and External Agencies i.e. statistical information, statutory requests etc.
- Compile, maintain and submit SLA Matrix data to Corporate periodically
- Initiate various process improvement projects as per Customer requirements and work with European Payroll Manager/Regional European Coordinator to implement
- Maintain and update document workflow and work procedure manuals .
- Cross train designated back-up to administer and process payroll.
- Participate in KPI reviews of payroll and benefits Vendors
- Provide Billing/Scorecard data to Payroll Manager for submission to Corporate
- Experience in payroll for an international company
- Experience with German SAP payroll system
- A good understanding of German Statutory Legislation
- Experience of outsource payroll services (processing or fully managed)
- Good communication skills
- Analytical skills to help resolve errors
- Multi-task and be hands-on in carrying out responsibilities independently with minimum supervision
- Good communication skills ,written and oral , in English required.
