Payments SIT Test Lead - Banking

Investment bank based inCanaryWharf, requires a Payments SIT Test Lead on a contract basis. Main Function Support US Cash Programme release testing: * ProvideQualityCentre training * Produce assigned SIT Test Plan and test packs documents according to the standard as provided by the Test Manager * Produce Gap analysis report to identify the gap on business requirement and FRD/ Design specification * Produce Smoke Test Pack and perform smoke test prior to the start of SIT * Provide support and monitor progress on their packages including test prep and test execution * Co-ordinate SIT progress meetings and manage defects during test execution * Produce Fit for Purpose MI reporting and test metrics according to Programme standard * Assist in the production of Test Closure Report * Manage direct and matrix test resources for the assigned release packages * Pro-activity takes responsibility for ensuring readiness of the SIT/ UAT environment prior to the start of SIT/ UAT test phases * This role can be extended to cover component UAT Test Phase where applicable Person Requirements This person must have: * 6+ years manual testing experience includingUKinvestment banking * Financial/ Payment testing experience * 3+ years operating in a Test Lead level * Expert inQualityCenter * Strong technical background including MQ, Connect Direct etc. Additional: This is a hands on testing lead role and the candidate must prefer to perform both test preparation and test execution when required
