Payments Development Lead

A leading Financial Services Sector client now requires a Payments Development Lead to lead the project team in the delivery of the design, development and testing (including Operations Analysis) components required, providing technical guidance where required, to ensure successful project delivery, to the quality required. The Payments Development Lead will also be responsible for Resource Management - Effective Management of team productivity, including weekly monitoring of capacity, and ensuring staff are fully utilised and all projects are staffed appropriately. Responsible for the allocation of work and management of the workload for the team.

The ideal Payments Development Lead will have the following skills:

-STRONG PAYMENTS experience
-Experience of driving delivery of technology projects
-Experience of developing and managing a budget and resource plans
-Solid Line management experience managing a technical team in a full line Management capacity.
-Genuine enthusiasm for excellence in design coupled with an appropriate level of delivery pragmatism.
-Experience of Java and J2EE and associated concepts including Object-Oriented and Service-Oriented design.
-Experience of JRules
-Experience of relational databases such as Oracle 11g or IBM DB2
