Brook Street are currently working on behalf of our Global IT client Media Client to recruit a Partner Account Manager. This is a contract role based in Reading.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Partner Account Manager is a critical role essential to the success of the Sales Territory and to the relationship between the client and the retail partner/s. In this high profile position you will lead the entire sales relationship between the client and the Retail Partner/s. You will be responsible to set strategy for sales engagement with the customer, coordinating all resources as necessary to ensure that all work with retail partner is highly effective. The business goal is to drive growth of the business with the customer, achieve ongoing improvement of customer satisfaction of the retail partner and help the customer differentiate itself in the market and grow their business.

The success of this business is measured by business growth targets that are met or exceeded; and net new opportunity revenue that exceeds FY commitments; retail partner accounts typically are already significant customers and in this role you will be responsible to protect and grow a very important revenue stream for the client. Since Retail Accounts are typically high profile accounts, competitive pressure is often significant, and a key success factor in this role is the ability to anticipate competitive challenges and set in place action plans to neutralize them.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Establish and execute an account business plan that identifies strategically and tactically how the business growth, CPE (satisfaction) performance and other metric based performance factors will be achieved. Execute the plan and meet or exceed metric goals including revenue, market share and other goals.

Provide a predictable and consistent interface between the client and the customer. The operating model should leverage the extended team of resources available, but achieve a high level of predictability, consistency and responsiveness.

Maintain a comprehensive account profile for the account. The profile should show relationship maps for the customer account that identifies each contact's power, purpose and relationship links/power flows within the account. Align to Retail objectives - CPE (Customer and Partner Engagement), corporate internal executives to get the right resources in the right place as needed to support the account business plan.

As a candidate for this position you will be able to demonstrate:

1) ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

- Selling experience in a retail environment - ideally selling Hardware or Devices
- Experience working with or for OEM's
- Managed key strategic partnerships with FTSE 100 retail business
- Experience managing a business of $50m+
- Management/virtual team experience

2) TECHNICAL/FUNCTIONAL SKILLS

- Negotiation at senior level
- Building Exec relationships
- Sales Strategy
- Business alignment
- Management competencies

3) PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES/INTERPERSONAL SKILLS

- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong numeracy and problem solving skills
- Good interpersonal awareness

As a Brook Street contractor you will be entitled to 25 days holiday per annum, 8 days paid Bank Holidays, discounted gym membership, use of the onsite health facility, access to online learning and training, free parking and an excellent subsidised restaurant. In addition, subject to qualification criteria, you will have the potential opportunity to earn bonus.

Salary: £50,000 per annum
Location: Reading
