Part Time Sonographer Required in Walsall

Locum Sonographer urgently required by TTM Healthcare on behalf of an acute Trust based in a large metropolitan town in the West Midlands of England.

The hospital, located 8 miles north-west of the City of Birmingham and 6 miles east of the City of Wolverhampton, provides services to around 260,000 people in Walsall and the surrounding areas.

This is a contract position for a minimum period of 6 months
Excellent hourly rate of £42.00

The Role
The post holder will be working to cover Saturdays in the OP Department, performing general, small parts, vascular and gynaecology scans.
The role consists of an 8 hour shift and all requests will be from GP’s in Walsall area. There will be a support worker alongside the Sonographer during these hours.

Key Requirements
BSc Radiography or its equivalent
HCPC Registration
Hold a PGDip in Ultrasound or its equivalent
Evidence of a comprehensive Continuous Professional Development portfolio
2 - 3 years post qualification experience
Ability to perform general, small parts, vascular and gynaecology scans.
Experience working within a hospital environment
