Part-Time ER Advisor

About The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time ER Advisor covering a job share (Mon-Wed) on a 4 months fixed term contract to be based at our Hemel Hempstead office.

As the Part-Time ER Advisor it will be your responsibility to provide an outstanding customer service experience on all employee relations matters to all stakeholders, particularly the HR Business Partners (HRBP) and Line Managers.

You will guide and enable all stakeholders to manage people matters effectively, efficiently and in line with the UK & Ireland employment legislation.

This role would see you working as part of the Employee Relations Centre of Excellence striving to provide a truly 1st class service to the business.

Operate a first class ER telephone helpdesk service to all stakeholders
Advice Line Managers in all aspects of grievance, investigation and disciplinary case management in line with Company policies and legislation
Advice management in dealing with long term sick cases effectively, referring colleagues to Occupational Health and managing referral process end to end
Ensure case logs are maintained accurately and all relevant documentation attached to cases without failure

About You

To be a success in this role you will need to show prior experience of providing effective 1st line operational ER advice and support to a fast paced organisation.

You will also need to show knowledge of UK employment law and be able to show 'best practice'
