Description:

1. Preparation of IDS scrub outsourcing
a. Create a spreadsheet to outsource to Clairvolex
b. Open docket workspace in iManage
c. Check docket workspace for a previous scrub by Clairvolex
d. If Clairvolex has not scrubbed the docket continue to prep the docket for full scrub as follows:
i. Open same docket in eIntelligence
ii. Check iManage for disclosure details and disclosure documents against the disclosure in eIntelligence
iii. If disclosure and documents are not on iManage workspace, download documents
iv. Check for combined or related dockets and add to docket workspace in iManage
e. Add comments to spreadsheet re related dockets and access
f. Give Clairvolex access to the workspace
g. Forward spreadsheet with instructions to Clairvolex via email

2. USA Assignment Verification
a. Using the patent number for the docket check Assignee on USPTO database
b. open IPM record for same docket confirm Assignee matches
c. if the Assignee matches the IPM record
i. note recordal date and reel/frame in spreadsheet to be sent to docketing
ii. note AVC completed in spreadsheet to be sent to docketing
d. If the Assignee does not match, check the Assignment Abstract to determine the correct Assignee
i. Note assignee change to IPM record needed and the correct Assignee in spreadsheet to be sent to docketing
ii. note recordal date and reel/frame in spreadsheet to be sent to docketing
iii. note AVC complete in spreadsheet to be sent to docketing

3. Foreign assignment verification
a. Similar to USA assignment verification with the additional review of each foreign PTO database and communications with foreign counsel as needed.
