Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist

Our client provides vital support to people with learning disabilities, and children and families in need, helping them to improve the quality of their lives and achieve their goals.

The Speech & Language Therapist role involves providing assessment, appropriate advice and carrying out intervention for children with a range of speech, language and communication difficulties primarily in the mainstream school setting. Intervention involves working with Individuals and groups as well as closely supporting schools and families.

You will be working within a highly supportive and well resourced Speech and Language Therapy Department. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, liaising, co-ordinating and planning work with other professionals in the agency, attending staff meetings and in service training as required.

You will be required to develop and maintain links with families, schools and other agencies including local health and educational authorities.

You will need to be HPC registered and hold a current CRB.
