Paediatric Learning Disability Speech Job Surrey

Mediplacements are looking for a Speech Therapist, specialising in Paediatric Learning Disability to cover a vacancy for a client of ours based in Surrey.

This locum position is immediately available, and will require a motivated and enthusiastic Speech Therapist to hit the ground running with a busy NHS caseload. The ideal candidate will be fully qualified with previous Paediatric Learning Disability experience and will have excellent skills in the assessment, diagnostic and Paediatric Learning Disability treatment.

Position: Speech and Language Therapist
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3 Months
*To provide clinically effective, person centred and evidence based speech and language therapy assessment and intervention to learners with profound/multiple learning disabilities as well as physical disability/complex physical health needs attending courses provided and specified by the manager.
*To provide support and training to all teaching staff with regard to communication and eating and drinking; including training workshops and training specific to individual learners and/or environments.
