OTC Compliance Officer- We are looking for an experienced OTC Compliance Officer for a major project within a bank.

YOUR TASKS:

- Advising Trading & Sales desks as well as the Middle and Back Office relating to the whole range of regulatory issues in connection with trading, sales and settlement of FRC products (spot, forwards, options, swaps)
- Advising in relation to monitoring, review and control activities of the FRC Trading & Sales desks and businesses to ensure a profound compliance monitoring framework is in place and kept up-to-date with global and local policies and procedures as well as legal, regulatory and best practice business standards
- Implementation of local and international new regulation in the area of OTC derivatives (eg Dodd-Frank, EMIR, MIFID, FINFRAG)
- Training and education to new joiners and front desks on new regulation, policies and procedures
- Collaboration with other Compliance & ORC units cross-divisionally and across regions (EMEA, US and APAC)

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- Good understanding of the banking industry, the OTC derivatives markets and respective OTC products (forwards, options, swaps)
- Broad interest in the OTC derivatives market and respective regulation
- At least 5 years banking experience in a legal, compliance, audit or other relevant business function (eg trading, operations, credit risk)
- Degree in law, economics or business administration preferred
- Very good interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently and to exercise sound judgment under pressure, enthusiasm and attention to detail, self-confidence to handle demanding Front Office staff
- Fluency in English and German
