Oracle/SQL DBA (Advanced)

11/1/12-6/30/13, possible extension. Must include skills Matrix. Must include 3 refs.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Required:
Oracle-related
6+ years experience with Oracle products inclusive of Oracle Database Server, Oracle Application Server, Oracle Streams, Oracle Grid Control. 6+ years experience as Oracle database administrator inclusive of data design/modelling, monitoring, and performance tuning. 6+ years experience with PL/SQL programming.
MS SQL-related
6+ years experience with MS SQL products inclusive of MS SQL 2008. 6+ years experience as MS SQL database administrator inclusive of data design/modelling, monitoring, and performance tuning. 6+ years experience with SQL programming inclusive of stored procedures, functions, triggers, DTS/SSIS packages, scheduled jobs, and linked Servers. 6+ years experience with SQL relational databases, OLTP and DSS, serving in high performance, service-oriented, multi-tiered environments. 6+ years experience with configuration management (Visual Source Safe 6.0 administration) for SQL database objects. 6+ years experience with database design tools including ERWin and ERStudio.
Enterprise platform-related
6+ years experience in change management best practices, serving in a code promotion role in partnership with development team. 6+ years configuration management of Crystal/BO reports and associated database objects. 6+ years experience in Microsoft IIS Web Application Server system administration, monitoring, trouble-shooting, and performance tuning.

Preferred:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with technical and user staff.
