Oracle Security Engineer (Contract)

For an international institution in Zurich we are seeking a highly motivated professional to take up the following challenge:

ORACLE SECURITY ENGINEER (CONTRACT) - 5638

REQUIREMENTS

- Very good knowledge with Critical Security Controls (CSC)
- Oracle Database Technology and Security knowhow
- Skilled with Tripwire or a similar scanning tool
- Experienced with Java and Python for creating automations and integrations
- Strong communicator with inter-personal skills and ability to interact appropriately with different divisions.
- Fluency in English is a must, German a high advantage

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Implement and engineer
- Engineer and implement security controls for the Oracle Database product based on CIS CSCs and Security Architecture specifications with a very high focus on end to end automation.
- Collaborate continuously with Oracle architects, engineers, operational staff and internal security personnel gather requirements, issues, and tasks to provide and implement engineered security solutions accordingly.
- Provide 3rd level technical expert support for internal colleagues and external service providers.
- Optimize the existing environment by evaluating/developing/implementing new/additional security/products/concepts.
- Create technical documentation such as security concepts, specifications, guidelines, standard operation procedures (SOPs).
- Incorporate automation, optimization and efficiency gains in your daily work
