ORACLE PROJECTS (PA) BUSINESS ANALYST

The ORACLE PROJECTS BUSINESS ANALYST role will provide leadership and expertise to help drive business benefits from the adoption of the information and global manufacturing Projects capability available to business units. They will work with the businesses to understand and utilize the solutions for their information needs, help them understand the capabilities of the system and train them to be able to get the best outcomes from proper use of the system and work with the Business Solution Architect to further enhance the capability of the system to meet the businesses need for timely and appropriate system utilization during each site deployment as well as post go live.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Working with the Business Solution Architect, support deployment activitiesimplement and manage Project Accounting & OTL strategy for newly established Global ERP system utilizing Oracle E-business R12 platform
- Create and maintain a common business process design & architecture across company sites, with interfaces & modules to support the core design
- Examine the Projects needs of client sites globally to develop relevant systematic practices and procedures across all sites
- Train business users during deployment activities and work with the end users to implement best practice Projects & OTL management
- Where appropriate, assess end user reports for divisional and executive management and define requirements
- Support the functional working councils to educate and define global projects practices
- Define and execute test scenarios within a global environment with focus on integration with Projects & OTL modules for reconciliation
- Define end user reporting requirements for ad hoc reports or custom reports creation
- Manage and develop process mapping for all manufacturing projects areas using techniques & tools
- Write, review & update implementation documentation

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

- Global Implementation experience with Oracle EBS R12 in the Projects Suite modules:  Project Costing, Project Billing and core Financials, with HR OTL experience.
- Clear understanding of Oracle Projects with finance & manufacturing modules and be able to explain how business events in the above applications integrate throughout the installation. 
- Clear understanding of module configuration and how it operates in a global enterprise  in all modules
- Degree in Business or Computer Science 
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Ability to travel to all sites 30%, where required. 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

- Experience in a global manufacturing team or DoD environment
- User training delivery.
- Oracle UPK experience with content and reviewing.
- Familiarity with UK/EU/US Localisations
- Functional understanding for reporting and business requirements gathering for end user requirements
- Working in a Shared IT Services model
