POSITION: Oracle Projects Functional Consultant

DURATION: 3-6 months

LOCATION: Paris France

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Advanced functional expertise in Oracle e-biz product corresponding to the functional domain in consideration.
- Ability to fully map functional requirements and integrate them into the final solution keeping in mind product functional and technical capabilities.
- Ability to train power users, design, develop and troubleshoot applications.
- Has experience across implementation and support projects and has knowledge of other types of projects -  upgrade, migration and consolidation.
- Is able to understand other functional areas in the sense of how they relate to his or her expertise.
- Knowledge of business processes, representation of the same, and basic knowledge of process reengineering.
- Has a understanding of processes core domains (Fin, Mfg, SCM,HCM and CRM).
- 8-10 years of total experience in Oracle 11i
- At least 3 full cycle implementation on Procurement module
- Adept at determining requirements by interviewing client personnel, reviewing documentation, facilitating working sessions and gap analysis
- In depth understanding of procurement workflows and interfaces
- Adept at creating business process models based on the requirements
- Basic understanding of inventory modules
- Prior experience in customer facing role is mandatory
- Excellent communication skills
- Working knowledge of SQL is highly preferred.
- Expert in French language
- Should be able to communicate in French and English.
- Conduct Conference Room Pilots workshops to details the requirements/Gap Analysis to facilitate Functional design
- Define the AS  IS Process in the Oracle SP Tool with the business SME-
- Develop training material so that the change to the Oracle SP Procurement is managed.
- Deliver 2 to 4 training sessions to Key users
