ABOUT THE POSITION

GTN Technical Staffing is seeking an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Software Engineer for a 6M Contract in Plano, TX.  The Oracle PL/SQL Software Engineer will join a development team and will be responsible for software design and construction of various OSS components. The Oracle PL/SQL Software Engineer will analyze requirements and architect/design/develop custom code enhancements. The Oracle PL/SQL Software Engineer will be involved in hands-on coding and debugging experience, and strong knowledge of UNIX and NT operating systems/platforms.  The Oracle PL/SQL Software Engineer must utilize strong PL/SQL skills to create various stored procedures, packages, functions, tables, and views. The Oracle PL/SQL Software Engineer will use Oracle Explain Plain and auto trace to fine tune SQL to improve performance. The Oracle PL/SQL Software Engineer will need to have basic understanding of Siebel Sales and Order Entry tables and relationships for data clean ups, as well as hand-on experience with .NET/Java WebServices from a procedure and functions standpoint.

- Create Design Documents/Data Flow Diagrams from Business Requirements
- UNIX/Windows NT Operating Systems/Platforms
- Shell Scripting
- KSH - Korn Scripting
- BSH - Bash Scripting
- PL/SQL - Stored Procedures/Packages/Functions/Tables/Views, etc.
- Excellent Written/Verbal Communication
