Oracle PL/SQL Developer

ORACLE PL/SQL DEVELOPER

A Senior Oracle Developer with strong Oracle PL/SQL and ETL skills is required for a 6 month initial project with a bank based in Ticino, Switzerland.

Requirements:

- Oracle senior developer with 8+ years of experience
- Experience on Oracle ETL and related technologies.
- Hands on experience on SQL, PL/SQL and other
- Demonstrable experience of good query performance tuning skills.
- Experience with all phases of the systems development life cycle
- Excellent organizational, problem solving, and written/verbal communication skills.
- Mentoring experience, especially with developers in different locations.
- Understanding of standard change control policies and procedures and ideally experience working in an IT environment with change control procedures

Beneficial Skills:

- Awareness of test-driven development and design
- Experience of working in a continuous integration environment (TeamCity)
- Experience with Sybase ASE (15)
- Experience with source control (preferably Subversion)
- Experience with UNIX (Linux/AIX/Solaris
- Knowledge of HP Vertica
