Oracle Infrastructure Architect

The role of Infrastructure Architect will concentrate on the design of infrastructure including Servers, storage, workstations, Middleware, non-application software, networks and the physical facilities that support the applications and business processes.

The Oracle Infrastructure Architect is focused on solutions and designs to support the business processes/applications required by the client and will be involved in the following duties:

- Design Physical Infrastructure Model
- Develop Infrastructure Component Specifications
- Develop test plans to test application migrations and produce infrastructure estimates at different stages of the project
- Produce Infrastructure solutions using Oracle Technology virtualisation stack OEM, OVM, OL
- Produce Infrastructure solutions using Middleware Oracle Technology stack (WebLogic, WebCenttre, OSB, SOA, ECM, OBIEE, IDM)

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

- Strong Oracle technologies architecture background
- Strong OEM, OEL, OVM, racle database knowledge
- Oracle Infrastructure technology stack
- Exposure and good knowledge of Oracle Fusion Middleware products
- Sound knowledge of IBM and other of Storage technologies
- Knowledge of Server technologies

The Infrastructure Architect should have a keen interest in utilising technology to improve business operations and processes and work effectively with other team members to understand customer needs and to design, evaluate and develop IT solutions which meet those needs.
