Oracle HR & Payroll Consultant

We are looking for an a contractor to work on a short term contract of 3 months (with possible extension of a further three months) in our Oracle E-business HR & Payroll system support team to be based in Cambridge with travel to Northampton.

The role is to provide additional technical skills in the team.
There are no management responsibilities in the role, it would be to perform technical based activities as directed, to supplement and support the existing team members.

Skills/Experience required:-
* Experience of using Oracle UK HRMS on R12 in the public sector
* Good understanding of the payroll cycle - knowledge of running payroll processes including Enhanced Retropay.
* Experience of system configuration to meet statutory legislation, RTI, Auto-Enrolment
* Experience of creating pay elements using Oracle Fast Formulae with pro ration and retropay features
* Knowledge of statutory payments, ie Maternity and Sick Pay
* Advanced excel skills in data manipulation, eg pivot tables and LOOKUP formulae
* Discoverer report writing
