Oracle Financials, FAH Functional Consultant

The Role

Working as part of an exciting Greenfield Development Programme the need has arisen for an Oracle Financials/FAH Functional Consultant to join the team on an interim basis.

Key Accountabilities

- Candidates will be responsible for assisting with the functional configuration of an Oracle R12 EBS financials environment to support FAH implementation.
- Will assist in the creation of project deliverable such as setup documents functional and technical design documents
- May design, build, and test of SQL*Loader scripts, PL/SQL packages, SQL scripts, Shell Scripts, Java, AO Framework jsp, Oracle Forms, Oracle Forms Personalizations, Oracle Reports, XML/BI Publisher, Oracle Workflow, and Oracle Approvals Manager in support of Oracle EBS R12 implementations.

Skills & Experience

- Must have implementation experience of Financial Accounting Hub (FAH) and General Ledger, preferably in large, complex organisation.
- Implementation experience of other eBusiness Suite modules an advantage.
- Must have good accounting knowledge (although accounting qualification not necessary) and be able to understand complex end-to-end accounting processes and how best to utilise eBusiness Suite to deliver a pragmatic and scalable solution.
- Knowledge of delivering customisations and enhancements to the standard Oracle functionality highly desirable.
- The candidate must be able to pick up work from previous system integrator and progress partial designs through to completion.
- Must be flexible, pragmatic and come with a positive attitude to engage in all aspects of delivering the solution into the business. The candidate is expected to engage in workshops, design, build, testing, training and any other tasks necessary to deliver a successful implementation.
