On behalf of our client, one of the most recognizable banking brands worldwide, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced Oracle ETL Architect with Oracle PL/SQL development experience and knowledge of Infomatica Powercenter for a 6 month contract with a strong chance of extension.
The start date for this role would be July/August 2015.
ORACLE ETL ARCHITECT, BANKING (CONTRACT, ZURICH)
Short Project description:
Our task is the ongoing development of a Leads Management System for internal Relationship Managers.
The application requires significant extension to cover (in the short-medium term) amalgamation of data sources. We are looking for a team member to provide ongoing technical leadership and architectural skills to ensure that the best solution is developed and that best practices continue to be adopted in a consistent and practical manner.
You are primarily responsible for:
- Architecture of cross-platform data management and source data take-on
- Direct contribution to solution development
- Working closely with the near shore .NET UI development team and business stakeholders
In order to be considered for this new contract, you will possess the following skills and experience:
- Solid SQL Server, Oracle PL/SQL and PowerCenter ETL technical and architectural skills (strong knowledge on how to design, implement and integrate solutions spanning each of the different technical system components)
- Excellent and ongoing hands on experience in SQL Server, Oracle PL/SQL and PowerCenter ETL
- Minimum 5 years of development in each of the required disciplines
- Minimum 2 years architecture experience
- Experience of delivering within Agile teams, preferably Scaled Agile Framework
- General interest in the banking environment
- Strong communication skills
- Fluent in English
