Oracle Ebusiness DBA

A large ICT front-runner currently requires an experienced Oracle Application's DBA for a 6 month contract based in Dublin. This job requires someone with a strong background and proven experience of at least 5 years to join an existing team of DBA's for a new customer project.

Working with a team of DBAs, you will be responsible for the maintenance and support of our customers eBusiness Databases and other Oracle Technology such as application Servers and databases. You will be required to carry out general DBA duties including performance tuning, cloning, debug, backup and recovery etc.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
Minimum of 5 years Oracle eBusiness Suite DBA experience

Expert knowledge of 11i Oracle eBusiness Suite technology stack
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work unsupervised in a number of client sites (some outside Dublin)
Client facing experience, ideally as a consultant
Excellent debug skills Cloning & upgrade experience with 11i.
Database Upgrade experience up to 10g.
Hands on experience of co-operative application such as ADI & Discoverer 10g Database skills
Basic UNIX skills

Desirable skills:
11g Database Oracle SOA Suite Oracle Data Integrator
Experience of developing eBusiness Suite customisations Oracle Reports 6i
Strong SQL and PL/SQL
