JOB DESCRIPTION:

Seeking a Oracle E-business Suite Subject Matter Expert who possess excellent technical knowledge and experience in the given discipline. The individual is expert on a in Oracle E-business Suite. An advanced degree, normally a doctorate would be expected at this level. If a doctorate is not possessed, extensive and unique experience would be required.

OVERVIEW: Seeking expertise to assist in the implementation and O&M of finance systems. These systems are currently based on Oracle eBusiness Suite 12. Implementation is planned to run into 2017 with continuing O&M requirements for the foreseeable future.

ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED:

The Oracle E-business Suite Subject Matter Expert will review business procedures

The Oracle E-business Suite Subject Matter Expert will make recommendations for changes, improvements etc. based on best business practices;

Though not frequently, providing onsite support might be required.

The Oracle E-business Suite Subject Matter Expert will analyse new or changed business/user requirements.

Requested skills, competencies and toolset knowledge:

The Oracle E-business Suite Subject Matter Expert will be a qualified or part qualified accountant with thorough accounting knowledge including but not limited to encumbrance accounting, accrual accounting and experience of Public Sector accounting processes;

Have detailed knowledge of Oracle E-business Suite R12 Financials (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets), System Administrator, Application Developer and Workflow Administrator;

Have broad knowledge of the Oracle E-business Suite R12 Advanced Procurement, Inventory Management, Order Management and Enterprise Asset Management applications
