UNIX ORACLE DEVELOPERS (3+ MONTH CONTRACT)
The role will involve technical analysis at a database and operating system level to support the migration of Oracle database off a Solaris/Oracle 10/11 cluster to AIX/Oracle 12. Once the technical analysis is complete the resource would roll onto UNIX Scripting and PL/SQL development.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Operating systems: AIX, Solaris
Programming: Shell Scripting (familiarity on both O/S and knowledge of the differences between them), SQL, PL/SQL
Database: Oracle 9i, 10g, 11.2
Software: File transfer protocols such as SFTP, SCP, NFS etc. Connect Direct
MQ and Oracle Database Gateway an advantage but not essential
Forms and Reports an advantage but not essential
