Oracle Developer

The Oracle WebCenter Sites (OWCS, previously FatWire) Developer should have extensive experience and knowledge developing applications with the OWCS Web Experience Management platform.

Must have experience with website development, including content management development, template development, website application deployment, testing, Oracle Sites technical architecture implementation and related technologies.

Understanding of and experience with related technologies including web analytics, search engine optimization, social media, and other tools are preferred. Experience working with India-based development and QA teams is preferred. 

Implement OWCS architecture by building standard and custom components; prototyping; content/data migration; maintaining technical integrity and consistency; developing system documentation

Manage customer relationship by communicating OWCS architecture standards and frameworks; answering questions; resolving concerns and issues

Proficiency in implementing solutions using OWCS product suite based on the detailed design

Ability to advise on implementation strategy, performance, tools, caching, operations, release, deployment to the customers

Experience in integrating third-party systems with OWCS as part of overall architecture is a plus

Hands-on knowledge in tuning and configuring any of the Web Servers

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

5-7 years experience implementing solutions with OWCS required

BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field

4+ year of experience with JEE related technologies

Experience with Server Side components design & implementation is a must

Experience using one or more WCM tools such as Documentum WebPublisher, OpenText LiveLink, Vignette, Adobe CQ5, Drupal, is a plus

Strong experience working with typical software development life cycle tools such as code management and deployment tools is required. 

Demonstrated consulting skills, including client relationships and team facilitation

Well-developed organizational and interpersonal communications skills

General understanding of the business environment, models and motivations

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, such as meeting facilitation, presentation and documentation

Have strong collaboration and influencing skills
