Oracle Developer

Yoh has a contract opportunity for an ORACLE PROGRAMMER ANALYST to join our rapidly growing client in Huntersville, NC.

JOB OVERVIEW:

This position is responsible for developing complex customizations, workflows, interfaces, reports and data conversions. In addition the incumbent will also support testing of developed objects prior to migration for functional and integration testing and resolve defects and repairing system documentation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Developing complex customizations, workflows, interfaces, reports and data conversions. Including unit and support testing of developed objects prior to migration for functional and integration testing.
- Resolving defects and repairing system documentation.

Providing production support including troubleshooting issues, resolving technically complex software defects and conducting performance tuning.
- When required, logging service requests with Oracle and working with Oracle to resolve Application Software defects.
- Providing assistance in coordinating and troubleshooting with other system developers and business owners for integrated system application support.
- Participating in code reviews, ensuring compliance with development standards and best practices.
- Reviewing and approving project designs for compliance with overall system architecture.

Participating in specific development projects.
- Applying standard development practices throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).

Participating in an application change management board evaluating cost/benefit of user requests, working with the board to resolve competing priorities; preparing technical design alternatives and estimates in support of approved changes.
- Recommending technical direction including software and related hardware architecture and application standards.
- Evaluating new application technologies and products for potential use in the company; adopting and using new technologies, sharing results and lessons learned with team and other co-developers.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree from four-year college
- Minimum of seven plus years of experience in Oracle Technologies.
- Seven years of experience as an Oracle Application developer including an understanding of development methodologies and the SDLC processes.
- Seven years of experience as an Oracle Order to Cash Applications System developer with three or more of the following EBS applications modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Order Management, Advanced Pricing, MRP Forecasting, WMS and Inventory.
- Six years of experience in PL/SQL, XML, BI Publisher, Oracle Forms/Reports, JDeveloper.
- Professional experience with any of these technologies is a must: SOA, ADF, and BPEL.
- Knowledge of XML technologies such as XSL, XQuery, XSD, SOAP, WSDL, XPath.
- Ability to create any new reports using XML/BI Publisher.
- Experience working on R12 upgrade/Implementation project is a plus.
- Ability to work with Application Support Team and Business Analysts.
- Be involved starting at the enterprise level to ensure best practices and standards are in place specifically around Development and systems integration.
- Understand business requirements and be able to prepare Technical design documents for new enhancements/projects.
