Oracle DBA

My client is a leading communications company based in Amsterdam. They require a Oracle DBA to join their Data centre tech team for oracle administration as well as install of database infrastructure and/or data guard set up.

Role:

Deployment of new Oracle Database Systems (ODA, Exadata) and Oracle Databases
Develop and implement Oracle database related solutions
Oracle Database Administration and Migrations
Oracle Golden Gate Setup and administration
Guide/Support Junior DBAs in Incident Management
Database Performance-analysis, -tuning and problem monitoring
Keeping the Patch-Level of Databases, Oracle- Cluster ware and Database Machines up to date.
Maintain the availability of our database HA solutions in Dataguard and RAC configurations
RAN backup/recovery configuration

Experience

Min 5 years' experience in Oracle Database administration and -tuning
Good Understanding of Network technology
Expert skills in several of these technologies: Oracle RAC, Data Guard, Golden Gate, RMAN, OEM
Work-experience with Oracle ODA Installations and Oracle Exadata Operation
Good communication and documentation skills
Customer Orientation, capability of working independently and flexibility
