We are looking for an experienced ORACLE DBA to work for one of the world's top 500 fortune companies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Upgrade databases to 11.2.0.4
- Apply quarterly Patch Set Updates
- Troubleshoot performance problems with Oracle Enterprise Edition, RAC, ASM, and Data Guard
- Troubleshoot and maintain performance using SQL Plan Management
- Tablespace management within ASM
- Strong communication skills with the ability to transcend the organization with appropriate levels of detail
- Strong teamwork, decision-making, documentation and analytical skills
- Support and troubleshooting of backups via RMAN and Netbackup

QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ Years of Oracle 10g and 11g experience on large Data Warehouses (>3TB)
- 3+ Years of Oracle ASM experience
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) on 11g
- Oracle RAC Experience
- Oracle Active Data Guard Experience
- Oracle RMAN Experience
- UNIX Scripting skills
- Solaris/Linux OS Experience
- Oracle GoldenGate a plus
- Ability to troubleshoot and manage Oracle databases outside of Oracle Enterprise Manager
- Chef Experience a plus
