- Install, configure, and upgrade software server, tools, and applications
- Monitor, tune, size, backup, recover, analyze, defrag, and migrate
- Design and implement DB security, user management
- Clusters, replication, mirroring, standby database, RMAN
- Design/model DB structures
- Design and implement backup methods and disaster recovery strategies
- Migrate DB between software versions, platforms, and DB products
- Documentation will be key, candidate will be required to document all work
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least five (5) years of experience required
- Must have knowledge of Oracle 9i through 11g
- Strong experience with Windows and Linux
