Oracle Database Consultant

The requirement is to support an Oracle Dba team in a Brussels based company in the utilities sector.

Mission global description:

- Support the Oracle Dba team in his:
- Daily monitoring of the Production Oracle databases
- Administration (Creation/Management/Backup-Restore/Patching) of Oracle Databases
- Performance Tuning, problems detection and solving
- Development teams support: Deployments/Data Refresh/Authorization Management

Specific software to know:

- OEL Oracle Enterprise Linux
- Grid Oracle OVM CRS
- ASM
- Dataguard
- RMAN
- RAT ( Real Application Testing)
- Datapump
- OEM 13C
- Scripting: Bash Shell/Python (must be a very strong skill to be able to automate the patching process )
- Sql*Server basic know-how
- Take part to a Guard Role

Mission specifics to deal with the other Dba team members:

- Oracle Hardening implementation based on an existing CIS (Center For Internet Security) recommendations report
- Automate via Scripting our Oracle Patching process in an OVM context:
- By VM
- 1* Oracle CRS patching
- 1. Oracle RDBMS Binaries patching
- n. Oracle Databases patching
- Take part to an Oracle Client Patching process
