Oracle Database Administrator (Dublin)

We have an URGENT requirement for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator for a customer site in the Dublin area,

You shall be responsible for Oracle based Applications both current and new applications implemented onto the DB.

You shall play a key role in the management of our customers Oracle Database Environment.  

KEY ATTRIBUTES OF THE ORACLE DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR

Oracle Applications DBA with extensive experience with support, management and implementation experience including upgrade, configuration, management, and tuning of the Oracle Database 11G and R12 Application Server Products

- Approximately  6 to 8 years of hands-on experience having worked as a Applications DBA developing and maintaining business critical systems
- An effective team player with the ability to work on own initiative and to challenging deadlines
- Oracle Applications R12 (12.1.3)
- Oracle 9i/10g/11g Databases
- Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN)
- Oracle 10gAS
- SQL and PL/SQL
- Oracle Applications AD module
- Unix Shell Scripting
- Linux SLES11
- Knowledge of virtual environments
- Proactive and pragmatic approach to work
- Willing to work in a dynamic environment which requires flexibility and timely reaction to urgent requirements
- Practical and well organised and with good communication skills
