ROLE

Working in a large financial organisation on large global framework development.
You need a good understanding of how to build enterprise level global DB using best practice development and architecture disciplines.
Working with the development manager to develop solutions and deliver high quality systems.
Working with the PM to monitor, update and communicate project timelines and milestones and obtain senior management feedback.

Experience with development of enterprise level end to end software applications (UI, Middle Tier, Backend Integration) is required.

REQUIREMENTS

Datamodelling
SQL
Performance tuning batch data load
Identify performance bottlenecks, wicked queries and apply performance fixes
Configuration management and code promotion
6+ years DBA experience in Oracle. Experienced in Oracle 11g.
Oracle RAC, Oracle Data Guard, Oracle RMAN an advantage.
Unix Scripting
Architecting and supporting high volume Data Warehouse environment.
Working in controlled and regulated environments in financial services desirable
Configuration and setup of Oracle Grid control or like enterprise management system desirable
Banking, payments applications and processes would be advantageous but not essential.
Projects using different development methodologies including Agile
Middleware messaging solutions
Data analysis and profiling skills an advantage
