Role
Supporting operations and project delivery through analysis, configuration and troubleshooting issues arising on our cornerstone billing application Oracle Utilities Customer Care & Billing (CC & B), with responsibility for, though not limited to, Customer Management, Debt management, Rates, Payments Financials, Home Team & Pricing modules.
The support of specific Projects will also feature as a key role with the candidate being expected to produce design and configuration documentation within predefined timeframes.

Day to day duties
Liaise with Business Users to design appropriate solutions
Issue analysis and solution design when issues arise with existing processes/configuration
Studying current practices and mapping business processes
Facilitating solution design workshop
Designing, writing and vetting functional specification for configuration, enhancements, new designs, interfaces and reports
System Testing, User Support and Training
Adherence to IT development procedures and standards
Strong ability to work to project deadlines and project plans.

Requirements
Preferably Oracle University CC&B Certified.
Oracle Utilities CC&B project implementation experience.
Experience with configuring and implementing Oracle V2 Configuration tools. (Zones/Scripts/UI Maps/BO's)
A strong knowledge of the CC&B Database schema with PL/SQL skills.
Excellent CC&B external design and test plan writing skills.
Good understanding of key business processes
Ability to lead workshops at Energy IT and Business Forums.
Ability to work within a dynamic and innovative team.
To Lead Projects and Work streams as required.
To provide solutions and system options to the Business.
Ability to design and document solutions to the Business for Energy IT Applications
Ability to carry out development work on Energy IT Applications
