ORACLE BI APPLICATION MANAGER

Oracle BI Application Manager - An exciting opportunity for an industry leading Logistics organisation based in Utrecht. As a Functional Application Manager you have insight into and understanding of the entire chain and you have contact with all parties that work in it. You are focused on continuously improving the collaboration and the processes that are required in this chain, both within IT and within the client organization.

ORACLE BI APPLICATION MANAGER
. Functional management, configuration and monitoring of the Oracle BI environment and chain.
. Responsible for production and quality control of the Oracle deliveries.
. Communication to (end) users during disruptions, patch windows and upgrades.
. Monitor business interests and take pro-active action if disruptions occur somewhere in the chain.
. Coordination with technical application management for maintenance and improvement of the Oracle environment within the department.
. Maintaining and improving the management documentation present.
. Recording and following up findings in a service management tool.

ORACLE BI APPLICATION MANAGER

- Broad knowledge of and at least 5 years experience with recent Oracle systems (Oracle 11.2, 12.2);
- Knowledge of the Oracle database and tool stack (configuration/performance tuning/security/authorizations)
- Knowledge of OBIEE, OWB, ODI, APEX
- Knowledge of development tools like TOAD, SQLDeveloper
- Knowledge of the technical design of the Oracle database, tools and application Servers is an advantage
- Knowledge of BODS is an advantage
- You have the right communication skills to give and receive feedback.
- You are someone who watches over data security and privacy problems.
