Oracle Application DBA/Data Architect (3925)

For a project at our client, an international banking company in Zurich, we are looking for a

ORACLE APPLICATION DBA/DATA ARCHITECT (3925)

Working in several Identity/Access Management projects you are ensuring the quality and consistency of database changes within our development projects as well as supporting our teams with your know how.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Excellent knowledge in Oracle Databases and MS SQL Server
- Experience in database operations
- Strong communication skills; communication will be geared towards solutions architects and regional DB operation teams
- 5 years+ experience in relevant disciplines
- Very good English communication skills, German would be a benefit

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Supporting projects to find optimized, maintainable, stable and performing solutions reflecting state of the art DB design.
- Defining together with solution architects the data architecture for our Identity/Access Management platform.
- Consulting projects with Datamodelling
- Support projects with query/SQL tuning
- Aligning implementation of new solutions based on best practices and corporate policies
- Support the DB operation teams
- Support our 3rd Lvl support team with DB related incident resolution
- Be the link to central DB related support groups
- Troubleshooting/analysis of performance problems
