Ops Engineer Windows/Citrix - FS Consultancy - Oslo - Market Rates

We are looking for an enthusiastic & driven Ops Engineer to join us at MHC.

This role will be working on-site within an Oslo based team for one of our Tier 1 Banking clients.

Responsibilities include:

- Preparing for use of the infrastructure services for the GS Application BusDevOps teams
- Configuring the standardized infrastructural services (robust, high-quality, highly automated and up-to-date), which is delivered by Infrastructure NL and Bank Infrastructure
- Automating all the repetitive and error-prone activities
- Support and teaching GS Application BusDevOps teams using the standardized infrastructure services
- Implement mandatory security standards
- Continuous delivery of highly automated infrastructure services
- Managing all the components and resources in version-controlled archives (incl. code, scripts, configurations, and artifacts)
- Restructuring and reusing existing code/modules/functions
- Configuring/Implement Monitoring tooling
- Implement user stories backlog as agreed with the Product Owner
- Consistent and good to participate in DevOps rituals (daily stand-ups, planning sprints, judging sprints, retrospective, peer reviews)

This role will be working on-site at one of our Tier 1 Financial Services clients, based in Oslo.

YOU WILL ALSO HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Experience with multiple programming languages script languages and automation tools.
- Working knowledge of configuration tools like Puppet, Chef of Ansible
- Experience with at least one language like Ruby, Python, Bash, PowerShell
- Experience with virtualization environments and tools, eg. VMWare, CloudForms
- Experience with performance and capacity tooling and practices
- Experience of tooling systems management outcomes
- Experience in working in high performing Agile teams
- Track record in successfully automating infrastructure management products
- Certification and/or proven skills in one or more programming or Scripting languages
- Excellent oral and written command of Dutch and English
