Operations Manager - Tablet Deployment (Contract, Bern)

Swisslinx is searching for an operations manager for a tablet deployment contract to the end of the year with a client in Bern.
The Role:
- Optimisation and development of the current landscape including the associated tool integrations
- Some degree of second-level support for the tablet infrastructure
- The introduction of new equipment in coordination with the operation and other departments within the organisation
- Budget management and financial requirements planning in coordination with the infrastructure sector finances
- Equipment life cycle management (eg. accessories and operating system upgrades etc.)
- Control of the application operations managers to ensure the required services
The Candidate:
- Strong knowledge of mobile devices
- Proven success in the field of operations and activity management
- Proven experience in a second-level support position
- Excellent communication skills
- FLUENCY in both German and English is ESSENTIAL
- Extensive experience in design and development of IT processes
Extra Information:
- The role is located in Bern with no expectation of travel
- Starting ASAP to ensure candidate is brought up to speed in time for rollout and deployment
- Engagement is around 70% and equivalent to 60 working days until the end of the year
- There is the possibility for an extension
- French and Italian Skills are a plus
