Operations Manager SAP BW Application Service - Parttime (m/f/g)

Our Field of Activity includes technology, energy and innovation. For one of our Customer at the Düsseldorf Site, we are looking for a Operations Manager SAP BW Application Service (m/f/g) in Parttime for a Project suburb at the next possible time.

Your tasks:

Analyze change requests raised by business and evaluate their feasibility color:#000000;">Implement feasible changes based on requests accordingly and get acceptance from business requestor

Document the Change management process, results and final customer acceptance in SAP Solution Manager change request tool

Analyze existing authorization roles and coordinate the implementation role changes, which will be implemented by our external offshore supplier. The consultant has to evaluate the implementation effort and define the implementation timeline for external offshore supplier based on the urgency and estimated effort

Prepare implementation concept for the system migration and implement the changes in SAP BW independently. This includes for example activation of new / changed extractors, data store objects and process chains to connect SAP ECC applications into BW.

Coordinate and organize the handover to external offshore supplier support team (incl. Introduction / short training). This includes a close co-operation with external offshore supplier application support already during the implementation phase

Consult the business users on query development (SAP BW reports) to users who are trying to satisfy business information reporting request from the BW datastores

Setting up and managing a test programme (the consultant will work with existing SAP test systems) based on the business requirements and after agreement with the IT project manager and the Business project owner. This work includes definition of test scripts, test execution planning, progress tracking and final acceptance documentation

Key Skill Requirements:

IT-related studies or comparable work experience
-

Experience in project management, requirements, changes, reporting structures, analysis, redesign and in the coordination of various departments

Experienced in SAP BW development (extractors, data model and data flow, report design)

Experienced in SAP BW coordination (sub-) projects
-

Experienced in consulting customers and cooperate with (external/ offshore) support teams

Good knowledge of SAP BW authorizations
-

Broad IT know-how and knowledge at specialist level for the above-mentioned requirements

Good knowledge of German and English

Parttime, ca. 22 hours weekly, two days onsite, one day remote
