Operations Manager/Director

Huxley Associates is proud to be working for a tier 1 and tier 2 Automotive supplier based in the East Midlands. The new opportunity of an Operations Director has become available as they need a hands on practical Director that will ensure the product will enter large scale production. The candidate will be required to manage all production activities, quality, health & safety, supply chain, KPI's, manufacturing, purchasing, P&L, suppliers and finance. The Operations Director will work very closely with the MD and essentially making sure that things happen on an operational level. Interested? We are looking for an experienced Operations Director who has worn several hats over the years and has an appreciation of many areas including production, quality, health & safety, supply chain, KPI's, manufacturing, purchasing, P&L, suppliers and finance. The right candidate will ideally have experience with the Automotive sector or have extensive experience within lean techniques such as six sigma, 5s and TPM. You will also have strong man management skills and a proven track of implementing new changes.
