An urgent requirement for an experienced, hands on, forward-thinking Operations manager has arisen with my international Biotech client. This is an urgent role, they are hoping to conduct interviews next week!

Working closely with Engineering, Production & Quality managers you will create, execute and revise project plans to meet changing needs, requirements, schedules and priorities of the organisation on a ongoing basis. One of the main tasks will be to identify required resources and capabilities in supporting project scope and deliverables.

The ideal Operations Manager:
-Will have exposure to and use Project Management tools as directed by Engineering Manager in line with Corporate

Best Practices (MS Project, Resource by Month planning, Scope Change, Risk
Management)
-Exposure to Customer and Supplier relations, managing expectations.
-Initiating change requests and scope.
-Budget management & liaising with Sales team.

A large part of this role will be to ensure smooth transfer of the product from the pre-production to final production stage with a focus on optimisation of manufacturability.

Exposure to quality and design assurance, executing validations, working with the team on pre-production design and test. Ensuring documentation is complete, current and maintained.

Define and implement Production strategies, oversee operations and look to continually improve processes too.
