Operations Manager- Aerospace

I am know looking to fill an excellent career opportunity in a bespoke engineering company that focuses on the Aerospace, Automotive and Defence sectors world wide. The role is Operations Manager and it is an immediate requirement. If you are looking to progress your career in a well established business then read on. The role is based in their Derby site and will see you reporting directly into the Plant Manager. This is a new position that has come about through my clients own expansion. This is really an excellent chance to get in with a global company that are market leaders in their niche sectors and will be able to provide you with a very real chance to grow your career. To be considered you will need to have an excellent background in lean manufacturing ideally within Aerospace or Automotive. You must also have a strong understanding of ERP systems and its requirements and be able to review its current/future processes. A proven track record of implementing changes and continuous improvement is a must! You will need to have been exposed to technical products previously and have a strong mechanical engineering background. My client's team is very personable, vibrant and always busy. They have a light hearted working environment to compliment their hard working culture. You will need to be a team player and be able to work efficiently in such an environment. The salary on offer is c. £55-60k plus 20% bonus, company car/allowance, pension and healthcare.
