Operations Engineer/Support/Powershell/Oracle/SQL/Datawarehouse

As an Operations Engineer (OE) you are a part of DevOps teams that are active on the FIRM WARE platform. This DevOps team works on the innovation of the Datawarehouse as well as the continuity and quality of Data for the Data Warehouse. As an Operations Engineer, you are responsible for the operational data logistic processes and you implement changes within the Datawarehouse.

You will also play an important role within the DevOps team. You will be a team player that works closely with other disciplines/roles in the DevOps team. You will be able to convince people within the team of the importance of new deliveries and compliance with quality standards. In addition, the Operations Engineer carries out activities in the field of Life Cycle Management. Continuous improvement is the mindset with the focus on automating the work within the team as much as possible.

As the Operations Engineer you will be responsible for:

- Monitoring the technical and functional data quality;
- Ensuring various processing layers such as the financial reconciliation between the certain flows;
- Managing parameters and control tables.
- Supporting and implementing changes within the Datawarehouse.
- Supporting and carrying out the test activities;
- Carrying outsource analyzes (Flatfiles, Data Router
- System and process analyzes;
- Implementing and supervising changes in the entire OTAP;
- Performing Life Cycle Management;

Requirements:

- A bachelors degree;
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in a comparable position in a banking IT environment
- Knowledge and experience with Agile, Lean and ITIL
- Knowledge and experience of Data Warehousing.
- Knowledge and experience with Linux/AIX, Windows, SQL is a must.
- Knowledge and experience with SAP HANA and Informatica tooling (PowerCenter) is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge and experience with modelling DWH environments is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge and experience with XLRelease and XLDeploy is an advantage.
- Knowledge and experience with Linux Scripting is an advantage.
- Knowledge of test tooling as Fitnesse is an advantage.
