Operations Engineer

Operations Engineer - Barrow-In-Furness - £13.75 an hour - 6 months

This is a great opportunity to work within the defence industry for one of the UK's biggest defence companies. You will be responsible for liaising with planning and other technical departments. Understand, develop and implement greater customer and external relations, Develop and mentor new employees and team members and support in the development of department processes.

Experience required for this role:-
- Strong communication skills
- Skilled in the use of standard Microsoft packages and specialist packages as required
- Ability to plan, prioritise and organise activities
- Ability to get actively involved in problem solving & issue resolution
- Ability to work with a range of different stakeholders, understand business requirements and influence outcomes
- Experience of designing and implementing projects
- Ability to rapidly build knowledge of the business requirements
- Recognition of the limits of their knowledge so that specialist support can be sought
- Sufficient experience to be able to identify all the issues involved in their area of responsibility
- The correct recognition of the context of their work within the overall product.
