Operations Engineer - Aberdeen - 12 Month contract - competitive rates

My client, a major OilHSE, Subsurface, Metering, Commercial, Subsea, Well Integrity and Houston Marine Group. Building a successful and sustainable working relationship with NSPC is essential.

Day to day responsibilities:

Provide Process Engineering support to the POA assets.
Drive the Duty Holder to provide satisfactory technical resolution of POA operational issues.
Work with the MacCulloch subsurface team, NSPC and company offshore representative to co-ordinate day-to-day optimisation of the MacCulloch wells and facility.
Work with the company sub-surface and Operations representatives to influence operational improvements on Clair.
Develop a good working knowledge of POA asset safety cases, wells, subsea equipment and topsides process to identify opportunities to improve safety and maximise production.
Provide operational support to MacCulloch life extension project and decommissioning studies.
Develop a good working knowledge of the various commercial agreements and provide technical support to resolve commercial issues as necessary.
Provide technical support to company JV representatives for Clair Phase 1 and Clair Ridge.
Leverage company functional group expertise within Integrated Operations as required including, Marine Subsea, Well Integrity, Environmental, HSE, Asset Integrity and Logistics.
Collate POA HSE and Asset Integrity metrics to be presented at the quarterly UK assurance board meetings, and drive close out of actions with Duty Holder.
Deputise for MacCulloch Operations Manager as required.
Provide technical support to company Sullom Voe Terminal Technical Committee (TTC) representative.
Comply with, and promote the company safety culture to eliminate all injuries, unsafe practices and environmental incidents.

Critical Skills:

Strong promoter and champion of safety culture, metrics and" journey to zero incidents"
Preferably process Degree qualified
5 years' experience of Oil & Gas Production Operations
Ability to communicate powerfully and persuasively to engage and gain support from Senior Management and major stakeholders.
Acceptance of personal ownership and accountability for achieving targets
Ability to surface and resolve technical conflicts between internal and external groups
Recognised as demonstrating credibility, honesty and integrity
