Operations Director

Huxley Associates is proud to be working for a multinational company that specialise in manufacturing machinery in the medical sector, within the West Midlands. They are growing at over 40% per annum and have fantastic employment prospects in both the UKand internationally. This aggressive growth is being fuelled by the emerging economies and looks set to continue well into 2013 and beyond.

The new opportunity of an Operations Director has become available due to the current Director advancing his career overseas. The candidate will be required to manage all production activities, warehousing, increasing productivity through lean manufacturing, managing change, running the day to day operations of the factory and dealing with suppliers making sure they deliver on time.

Interested? We are looking for an experienced Operations Director who has a background in electrical or automotive, a Medical background is not essential however this will stand you head and shoulders above the rest. You will have excellent man management skills and be responsible for 6-8 employees on site, which is set to grow rapidly. Experience of managing change is essential as the company is growing rapidly and want to apply principles from the elite automotive into their business. Working with suppliers and ensuring they consistently hit their delivery targets is also essential, this will take a strong personality to ensure this happens day in day out. The ideal candidate will also have warehousing experience and the ability to increase productivity and capacity is crucial.

The package on offer is circa £80,000 + a competitive benefits package.
